The Layer Cake Project, a great project teaching why interior design is needed. Pushing me to broaden my view beyond myself.

Thinking of how people will interact with a given space and understanding the need for product placement and advertisement was the largest objective, this allowed me to to analyse a space correctly.

The Arthropod Project

Grasshopper Inspired

A Grasshopper moves all the segments of its antenna in all directions, using it to pick up sounds waves and vibrations.
In an equivalent way I used this method of wave capture to expel light from my lamp. This is accomplished through allowing all joints to move freely and smoothly.

The more versatile the movement of the lamp the easier it can illuminate.

Elegant and bespoke, creating this lamp was amazing and has lead me to making a lot more.

Work Experience With
